Learning is something that I seek out daily – whether it’s for a class, for work, or just because I wanted to know something.
Sharing what I’ve learned is just as important to me as the learning itself. I learn so much from others and want to “pay it forward” by sharing with others the things I have learned and that I believe will be helpful to others.
Technology
I’m a technology buff and thoroughly enjoy learning about technology, playing with it, seeing what it can do for me and others, and so much more.
There is so much to know with technology and I will never learn it all; nobody can. But what we can do is learn what works for us and share that knowledge and know-how; which is what I like to do.
Design
Ever since I was a kid, I have been into art and graphic design. Again, this is something I will never fully master and continue to learn, but I welcome the journey.
One aspect of design that I appreciate is the ability to express – today we live in an age where we have countless outlets to express ourselves (social networking, web sites, etc.). Some of these platforms, while “cookie-cutter”, give us the option to express ourselves through profile pics, about me pages, cover photos, etc. Through design, we can create our own brand and style to express who we are.
I believe good, custom design should be available to the individual brand and not just business brands. This site will showcase these individualized designs.
Photography
This is much like design for me. There is something special about looking at a good picture – something emotional. I have dabbed in photography ever since I had a camera. As time has gone on, photography has become something I have taken more seriously and I hope to share some of that here.
